_4-year-old Boy Hit by Ups Truck in Batavia Township Dies at Hospital—Police Say Driver Stayed on Scene

KHN – A 4-year-old kid who was killed after being hit by a delivery truck in Batavia Township on Monday evening has been named.

On Tuesday, the Hamilton County coroner identified the kid as Daniel Uhlenbrock of Batavia.

Around 4:30 p.m., a crash occurred on Autumnview Drive, just off Clough Pike.

According to an Ohio State Highway Patrol officer, a UPS truck was turning around on the roadway when it collided with the youngster, who was inside a wagon.

According to OSP, the youngster entered the street as the truck began to move in the cul-de-sac.

Police reported that the 4-year-old youngster died at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital.

According to investigators, the driver of the UPS truck remained at the scene of the incident and cooperated with the investigation.
