Five Injured, Including Four Children, After SUV Collides With Semi on I-94 in Otter Tail County (1)

OTTER TAIL COUNTY, Minn. (KHN) – According to the Minnesota State Patrol, five people were injured in Otter Tail County when an SUV collided with a semi-truck.

It occurred shortly before 7:00 a.m. On Monday, February 17, near mile marker 60 on Interstate 94, southeast of Fergus Falls.

Troopers say the semi and a 2013 Honda Pilot were both traveling east on I-94 when they collided.

Anthony Diggs, a 38-year-old Fargo resident, and four children were in the SUV. According to the crash report, the children are 14, 13, 8, and six years old.

According to troopers, Diggs and the four children were taken to Lake Region Healthcare in Fergus Falls. Two of the children were taken to Fargo to be treated for their injuries. The crash report states that the injuries are not life-threatening.

The semi’s driver, Okhirov Firdavs, 46, of Aurora, Colorado, was unharmed.
