A traveler from Illinois named Frank Dahlman related his experience of trying to find shade by saying, “We went to Universal yesterday and the sun was beating down on you and you could feel yourself just slowly crumbling away.”
In order to prevent heat stroke, Dr. Jason Littleton recommends taking preventative measures, such as using fabrics that are breathable and calling 911 in the event that symptoms such as seizures, rapid breathing, and nausea manifest themselves.
While you are waiting for medical aid, Dr. Littleton recommends that you “have some ice and put it around the neck area, arm pit area, and groin area to cool yourself down.” Some people are determined to have a good time during the weekend, despite the warmth.
