Breaking: Telfair County Drug Investigation Leads to Shocking Arrests in Jeff Davis!

A drug investigation that started with arrests in Telfair County has now led to more charges in Jeff Davis County.

The investigation began when two individuals were arrested in Lumber City on methamphetamine trafficking and distribution charges by the Oconee Drug Task Force.

After further investigation, officers received new information that indicated drugs and weapons were being stored at a residence in Jeff Davis County.

Working together with the Oconee Drug Task Force, drug investigators from Jeff Davis County obtained a search warrant for a property on Ira Graham Road.

On Wednesday, April 16, 2025, they searched the property and discovered several weapons, drugs, drug-related materials, and packaging items.

The two individuals previously arrested are currently being held on trafficking charges in Telfair County and will now face additional drug and weapons charges in Jeff Davis County.

Jeremy “Frog” Wilcox was charged with possession of methamphetamine with the intent to distribute, possession of several controlled substances, including Alprazolam (Xanax), Diazepam, and buprenorphine hydrochloride sublingual.

He also faces charges of possession of firearms during the commission of a crime (four counts), possession of firearms by a convicted felon (twelve counts), possession of drug-related objects, and a probation violation.

Robin “Lay” Wilcox was also charged with possession of methamphetamine with the intent to distribute, possession of controlled substances like Alprazolam (Xanax), Diazepam, and buprenorphine hydrochloride sublingual.

She faces charges for possessing firearms during the commission of a crime (four counts) and possession of drug-related objects.
