Five months after finishing his work as secretary of the US Department of Education, Miguel Cardona, also known as the Puerto Rican educator, embarked on a new phase of his career: starting his own company.

The educational company, which was founded in May of this year and is based in Meriden, Connecticut, aims to provide support and guidance to schools, school districts, non-profit organizations, and community members throughout the state, where the homeless make up 8% of the population and the entire population.
