1 Dead After Bmw Collides Head-on With Dodge Ram in Augusta County

AUGUSTA COUNTY, Va. (KHN) – Virginia State Police are investigating a two-vehicle accident in Augusta County that killed one person on February 27.

Details are limited; however, at about 12:26 p.m. on Thursday, a BMW was going south on Tinkling Spring Road when it crossed the center line and collided with a Dodge Ram driving in the opposite lane.

The impact led the BMW to leave the right side of the road. The driver was pronounced deceased on the scene.

The driver of the Dodge Ram was transported to the hospital and treated for minor injuries.

VSP stated that the cause of the crash is currently being studied.
