Two People Robbed at Gunpoint in Morristown After Being Followed From NYC, Police Say

KHN – Two persons were robbed at gunpoint in Morristown, New Jersey, after being followed from New York City on Saturday, according to police.

It occurred near Windmill Pond at 8 a.m. A witness saw a group of males, who have not been recognized, stepping out of a dark-colored SUV, police said.

Authorities said the group then robbed the two victims who were in another vehicle. They are accused of stealing money and personal things from the victims, according to police.

Police believe the crime is isolated and that the victims were targeted and tracked from Manhattan.
