Shocking Case: Nanny Caught on Camera Abusing Children Inside Morrisania Home

Police in New York City are searching for a woman accused of abusing two young children while working as a nanny in the Morrisania area of the Bronx.

According to the NYPD, the abuse happened inside an apartment near East 168th Street and Third Avenue.

Authorities said the woman was hired by a family to care for their two sons, aged 1 and 2. While watching the children, she allegedly hit and kicked them multiple times. The shocking incident was reportedly caught on a security camera inside the family’s home.

The children’s mother reviewed the camera footage and immediately contacted the police after witnessing the disturbing behavior. She told officers that the nanny had been employed for just a few days before the abuse took place.

The NYPD released a photo of the suspect and described her as being around 5 feet 6 inches tall with a medium build.

At the time of the incident, she was wearing black clothing. Police said she fled the apartment after the abuse and has not returned since.

The mother of the children shared that she trusted the nanny with her babies and never expected something like this to happen. She said the incident has left her feeling scared and betrayed.

Fortunately, the children are safe and are being looked after by their family. There were no life-threatening injuries reported, but police confirmed that the children were taken to a doctor for a medical checkup as a precaution.

The incident took place on Saturday, June 1st, around 9:45 a.m. The suspect has not yet been located, and the investigation is ongoing. Officers are asking for the public’s help in identifying and finding her.
