Kevin Noll has been appointed as the next principal of Latonia Elementary School by the Covington Independent Public Schools.

Maranda Meyer, who is accepting a position with the Kentucky Department of Education, is replaced by Knoll.

Noll stated, “I am excited to work with parents and the community to give our students the best educational experience possible.” At Latonia, we have a fantastic staff that genuinely cares about the students and families. I can’t wait to carry on the fantastic work that our school has been doing.

Boone County High School is where Noll received his diploma. He graduated from Northern Kentucky University with a Bachelor of Science in Biological Science and Secondary Education and the University of the Cumberlands with an Education Specialist in Administration. In addition to serving as an assistant principal at Grant County Middle School and Beechgrove Elementary School in Kenton County, he was once a science teacher and football coach at Campbell County High School.

With a student-centered approach, Noll intends to leverage tools, data, tactics, and structures to support students’ development across the board.

Helping every student develop intellectually, socially, emotionally, and in terms of character is my top priority, he stated. Every day is a chance to make a difference in a student’s life and get them ready for whatever lies ahead.

Noll starts work on July 1.
