Deadly Head-on Collision Near Moorhead Leaves Texas Woman Dead; Alcohol Allegedly Involved

Moorhead (KHN)— According to a Minnesota State Patrol report, one person died Saturday evening, Feb. 22, as a result of a head-on incident on Highway 75 north of Moorhead.

The incident occurred just before 7 p.m. Saturday on Highway 75 near mile marker 254 in Oakport Township, Clay County.

According to the State Patrol, Christopher T. Pink, 28, of Moorhead, was driving an SUV northbound on Highway 75 when it collided with a southbound Jeep.

Pink received no severe injuries, according to the State Patrol, which reported that the driver of the Jeep, a 43-year-old female from Ennis, Texas, died as a consequence of the collision.

Airbags were deployed in both vehicles, according to the State Patrol.

Alcohol was alleged to be involved.
