Just keep this in mind if you are traveling: Leave the bombs at home.
At LaGuardia International Airport, the Transportation Security Administration discovered a grenade inside a man’s carry-on bag.
The weapon of war was found in the passenger’s backpack on Monday while he was passing through security at the airport in New York City. The TSA concluded that it was a real grenade, albeit an inert one.
He claimed to TSA authorities that a museum had given him the grenade as a gift. The individual was not charged because Port Authority Police did nothing because it was inert. The grenade had to be turned up to the police, nevertheless. According to the TSA, the bomb will be retained for training.
According to the TSA, the traveler who had packed the grenade was permitted to board his flight.
