KHN – An injury crash involving an overturned vehicle on southbound Interstate Highway 680 in Milpitas stopped traffic for several hours Tuesday afternoon, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The CHP originally reported the accident around 2:30 p.m., issuing a severe traffic advisory following the injury accidents on southbound I-680 north of Jacklin Rd. in Milpitas. According to the CHP, the crash initially closed lanes 3, 4, and 5.
All lanes reopened just before 6 p.m.
Motorists were advised to expect some residual delays and to take alternate routes to avoid the area.
