A guy was arrested by Mexican National Guard personnel on Sunday morning for attempting to reroute a domestic flight from Mexico to the United States.
On Volaris Flight 3041, which was traveling from Guanajuato to Tijuana, a man attacked a flight attendant and attempted to access the cockpit, according to the Mexican Secretary of Security and Citizen Protection.
The pilot sent out an alarm code to land at Guadalajara International Airport after crew members restrained the individual, and the man was turned over to authorities, according to Mexico’s minister of security and citizen safety.
