Customers in the northern and eastern parts of Kentucky are without power as a result of a violent storm system that is making its way into the Bluegrass region. The storm system is expected to make its way into the Bluegrass region.
According to the information provided by PowerOutages.Us, there are presently approximately 2,100 residents in Kenton County who do not have access to electricity. Kenton County was the location of the majority of the power outages that took place on Sunday evening around 9:20 p.m.
In Pulaski County, there were over 660 people who were without electricity, whereas in Magoffin County, there were just 204 customers who were without power.
Andy Beshear, the Governor of Kentucky, posted a message on Facebook with the intention of notifying the general public that “serious weather” was developing in the northern and eastern portions of the state.

On Sunday evening, at approximately 7:15 p.m., the Morgan County Sheriff’s Office posted a video that demonstrated the gradually increasing water levels that covered a stretch of the road while additional rain continued to fall.
The footage was uploaded on the internet.
During the flash flooding circumstances, deputies asked civilians to take caution and explicitly recommended that they turn around so that they would not drown. They emphasized the need of individuals turning around.
