Texas Mother Allegedly Beats Children with Dog Leash and Threatens to Burn Their Hair Over Tissue

After reportedly beating her four children with a dog leash, turning on a gas burner, and threatening to burn their hair if they did not confess to dropping a tissue on the floor at their home, a woman from Texas is facing charges of child abuse. The allegations stem from incident that occurred in Texas.

Thirty-one-year-old Ebony Gonzalez is being charged with four counts of causing injury to a child.

According to the reports filed with the court, the alleged assault took place on Wednesday morning at their residence in Katy, which is a suburb of Houston.

According to an affidavit of probable cause for Gonzalez’s arrest, she became agitated when she discovered a tissue lying on the floor and none of her four children, ages 11, 8, and 6, would admit to dropping it.

The police claim that she used a dog leash to beat each of them.

According to the affidavit, she then threatened to burn their hair by placing their heads on a stove top and threatening to do so.

The inquiry was initiated when one of the children who had been described as “terrified” handed a note to a friend that described the alleged victimization. According to the police, the friend then notified the authorities.

After placing the children in protective custody, the detectives conducted interviews with them. Two of the children were found to have bruises and red welts on their upper backs, as documented by the police.

After being brought into custody, Gonzalez was transported to the Harris County Jail, where she has now secured a bond of $10,000 for each of the charges against her. The next time she is expected to appear in court is on Thursday. The position of attorney was given to her.
