A man from Central Florida has been arrested for starving and severely abusing horses on his property, according to the Lake County Sheriff’s Office.
The incident, which shocked many in the local community, came to light after a tip was received about the poor condition of the animals.
The accused, 55-year-old Ronald O’Neil, was taken into custody at his home on Lake Erie Road in Groveland.
