Knowhere News– In a Recent Development, Riverside County sheriff’s deputies apprehended a Perris man, identified as 43-year-old Miguel Angel Lopez, on charges related to the alleged sale of fentanyl and other narcotics. The arrest followed a comprehensive investigation into narcotics sales, culminating in a raid at Lopez’s residence in the 1000 block of Ruby Road in Perris.
During the operation, law enforcement officials seized a substantial quantity of multicolored fentanyl pills, fentanyl powder, methamphetamine, and a significant sum of money from Lopez’s residence. Additionally, items such as ballistic panels, ammunition, and a collapsible baton were confiscated as part of the investigation. Of significant concern was the discovery of a 12-year-old child near the narcotics at Lopez’s residence. The child was found alone and subsequently placed under the care of a relative for safety and well-being.
Lopez now faces a litany of charges, including possession of a controlled substance for sale, transportation of a controlled substance, child endangerment, and being a felon in possession of ammunition and a collapsible baton. He is currently held at the Cois Byrd Detention Center in Murrieta with bail set at $350,000, according to sheriff’s inmate records.
