Dallas Center Roller Skating Rink Set to Reopen Tomorrow for the 2025 Spring-Summer Season

Dallas Center is bringing back one of its favorite seasonal traditions—roller skating. The city’s outdoor roller skating rink is officially opening tomorrow, welcoming residents and visitors for the start of the 2025 skating season.

Located at 503 13th Street in Memorial Park, the rink is run by the Dallas Center Parks and Recreation Board.

They’ve announced that the rink will operate every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday through Labor Day weekend. Weather permitting, skaters can enjoy the rink from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Admission is just $1 per skater. Those who don’t own skates can rent a pair for another $1, making it an affordable activity for families, kids, and anyone looking for weekend fun.

This seasonal rink has become a popular hangout for many in the community, offering a throwback-style experience under the open sky.

Local volunteers and city staff work together to keep the space safe and enjoyable. Last year’s season saw strong participation, and this year is expected to bring the same excitement.

The roller skating rink will remain open every weekend until early September, giving people of all ages a chance to enjoy some fresh air and movement. Whether you’re experienced on wheels or just starting out, the rink is open to everyone.
