Deputies from the Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office arrested a wanted fugitive in Centennial on Wednesday, June 5.
The suspect, identified as 31-year-old David Scott Nichols, was taken into custody around 6:45 p.m. near the 8000 block of East Arapahoe Road.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, Nichols had several active felony warrants for his arrest, including charges related to domestic violence.
Deputies received a tip about his location and quickly responded to the area. Once on the scene, they spotted Nichols and arrested him without any issues. No one was hurt during the arrest.
After being taken into custody, Nichols was booked into the Arapahoe County Detention Facility. Officials confirmed that he remains in jail and is being held without bond.
The Sheriff’s Office thanked the public for helping them with information and said this arrest was part of their ongoing efforts to keep the community safe by tracking down fugitives with active warrants.
