FBI Identifies Mohamed Sabry Soliman as Suspect in Boulder Terror Incident That Injured Six

The FBI has identified Mohamed Sabry Soliman as the primary suspect in what they are calling a terror-motivated attack that took place in Boulder, Colorado. The incident occurred on Friday night and left six people injured.

Officials say the investigation is still active, but they believe Soliman acted alone in what appears to be a pre-planned act of violence.

According to law enforcement agencies, the attack happened near a crowded area in Boulder, causing panic and chaos. Boulder Police and FBI officials responded quickly to the scene, which was then secured as federal investigators began looking into the suspect’s background and possible motives.

Investigators say Soliman, 27, has been under scrutiny for some time and has possible ties to extremist beliefs. Although authorities have not confirmed links to any specific terror groups, they say the attack fits the pattern of a targeted and ideologically driven act.

The victims of the attack have not been named yet, but officials confirmed that all six are being treated at local hospitals. Their injuries range from minor to serious, but thankfully, none are believed to be life-threatening.

The FBI says the case is being treated as an act of domestic terrorism, and more details are expected to come out in the next few days.

Soliman was taken into custody shortly after the incident and is being held as investigators continue their probe into the attack and any potential networks he may be involved in.

The Department of Justice and the FBI’s Joint Terrorism Task Force (JTTF) is now working closely with Boulder authorities. They are also calling for any witnesses or anyone with information to come forward and assist in the investigation.

Residents of Boulder are still trying to come to terms with what happened. Many have expressed shock and fear, especially given the location and nature of the attack.

Local officials have urged the public to remain calm and cooperate with authorities as they work to ensure public safety.
