Four people were injured after a shooting broke out at an apartment complex in Augusta early Sunday morning.
According to the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were called to 220 Boy Scout Road at around 1:14 a.m. due to reports of gunfire. When they reached the scene, they found several people had been shot.
All four individuals who were injured were rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment. As of now, authorities have not shared updates about their conditions.
Deputies spent several hours investigating the scene, which included a parking lot at the back of the apartment complex. Investigators were seen gathering evidence and speaking to residents.
No arrests have been made so far, and police have not yet released any information about possible suspects or what may have led to the shooting.
