Kansas City Unites Against Hate: Hundreds Rally to Denounce White Nationalist March

More than 300 people gathered in Kansas City to protest against a recent white nationalist march by the group Patriot Front.

The protest took place at the Country Club Plaza and was organized by the Kansas City Women’s Action Collective. Participants held signs, chanted slogans, and expressed their opposition to hate and white supremacy.

The Patriot Front, known for its white nationalist views, had previously marched near the National World War I Museum and Memorial.

The group arrived in U-Haul trucks and wore masks to conceal their identities. Their presence in Kansas City sparked outrage among residents and city leaders.

Kansas City Mayor Quinton Lucas condemned the group’s actions, stating that the city’s diversity and welcoming nature reject hate and cowardice.

The National WWI Museum and Memorial also clarified that while they respect the right to peaceful assembly, the views expressed by the Patriot Front do not align with their values.

The protest against the Patriot Front’s march was a clear message from the Kansas City community that hate and bigotry are not welcome in their city.
