Major Illegal Marijuana Grow Busted in Norco, California; Three Arrested

In a significant development, authorities in Norco have dismantled a large-scale illegal marijuana operation following a meticulously executed search warrant on February 22, 2024. The raid, conducted by Riverside County Sheriff’s Deputies from the Norco Sheriff’s Station Special Enforcement Team, targeted a business situated in the 600 block of Parkridge Avenue as part of an intensive narcotics investigation.

The operation uncovered a sprawling illegal indoor marijuana cultivation facility, a disturbing revelation in the heart of the community. Investigators seized a staggering total of approximately 1,373 marijuana plants and thirty pounds of processed marijuana. Additionally, substantial evidence implicating the illicit sale of marijuana was unearthed during the operation.

The crackdown resulted in the arrest of three individuals: Duong Nguyen, 40, and Coung Nguyen, 38, both hailing from Santa Ana, and Khang Do, 41, from Fountain Valley. These individuals now face a litany of charges related to marijuana cultivation and distribution. Following their apprehension, they were promptly booked into the Robert Presley Detention Center.
