Riverside County Revolutionizes Services with Integrated Service Delivery

Riverside County is embarking on a groundbreaking initiative to streamline access to essential services for its residents. Through Integrated Service Delivery (ISD), the county aims to offer a comprehensive solution by consolidating various safety-net services at single locations. This innovative approach reflects the county’s commitment to enhancing its support system for residents, as articulated by Third District Supervisor and Board Chair Chuck Washington.

The ISD model has already made a tangible difference in the lives of individuals like William Kipp, a 77-year-old veteran from Murrieta. Upon contacting Riverside County’s Office on Aging, Kipp was promptly scheduled for an appointment at the Temecula Quad, an ISD pilot site. There, he underwent a health assessment and ISD registration, leading to his connection with several vital services. Kipp lauded the ISD model for effectively meeting his needs, showcasing its potential to positively impact individuals within the community.

The Temecula Quad serves as one of the pilot sites established by Riverside County, following the inauguration of its inaugural ISD location at the Riverside University Health System – Jurupa Valley Community Health Center. At the Quad, visitors have access to a plethora of services spanning multiple County departments, underscoring the breadth and scope of the ISD initiative.

Central to the ISD model is its aim to simplify access to resources for residents. Through a new registration process implemented across all ISD sites, individuals undergo a comprehensive assessment to determine their needs, facilitating seamless connection to county resources tailored to their specific circumstances.

Residents across Riverside County can avail themselves of appointments at seven ISD pilot sites, each strategically positioned to maximize accessibility and convenience. These sites include the Temecula Quad, Riverside University Health System – Jurupa Valley Community Health Center, County of Riverside Department of Public Social Services in Perris and Blythe, Riverside University Health System- Behavioral Health Corona Wellness and Recovery Center, and Riverside County Probation Department.
