Kim Harrison, the creator of Rooms With Love, will be featured by the Rotary Club of Florence on Monday, June 30 at its regular meeting.
Imagine aging out of foster care, overcoming addiction, homelessness, or spousal abuse, only to enter a vacant room. Rooms With Love can help with that. The nonprofit has been dedicated to using home furnishings to restore dignity and hope since 2022. The group has assisted families and vulnerable persons in transforming vacant apartments into cozy homes that are full of potential, warmth, and dignity.
Rooms With Love offers high-quality furniture that do more than just fill a room—they fill hearts—through collaborations with churches, social service organizations, and kind gifts from the community.
Harrison will talk about her experience and how a simple act like outfitting a home can have a profound impact.
