Shocking Incident: Man Shoots Himself Outside Ellsworth Mall in Broad Daylight

A man shot himself in the parking lot of the Ellsworth Shopping Center on Wednesday afternoon, leading to a heavy police presence and concern among nearby shoppers.

According to Ellsworth Police, officers were called to the scene around 1:45 p.m. after receiving reports of a gunshot.

When police arrived, they found a man with a gunshot wound. Authorities say the injury was self-inflicted. He was still alive and was taken to a nearby hospital for medical treatment. His current condition has not been made public.
