In order to help bring the joy of Christmas to underprivileged children, St. Vincent de Paul Northern Kentucky (SVdP NKY) has announced the start of its annual Christmas in July campaign, which will feature festive holiday sales and storewide savings throughout the month.
In order to help organizations like Adopt-a-Family and Vincent’s Angels, who give Christmas presents to nearby families throughout the holiday season, customers can round up their purchases at the register. Additionally, customers can bring in brand-new, unwrapped presents that cost $10 or more. Each eligible donation earns 100 customer loyalty points.
All four of SVdP NKY’s thrift stores will have a one-day 25% off storewide sale as part of their official Christmas in July Day Celebration on Thursday, July 25.
According to Karen Zengel, executive director of SVdP NKY, our Christmas in July program provides an enjoyable method to have a significant effect. You may give a child in need hope by shopping the sale, rounding up, or donating a toy.
SVdP NKY is once again collaborating with Fidelity Investments, a Covington-based corporation, to help Vincent’s Angels through a company-wide toy drive in addition to in-store promotions.
More than 700 children received Christmas presents from SVdP NKY last year, in part because of this toy campaign.
According to Andrea Behanan, manager of community relations at Fidelity Investments, “Fidelity is dedicated to the well-being of our community by establishing relationships with community partners like St. Vincent de Paul Northern Kentucky to help provide access and opportunity to under resourced communities.”
Additionally, customers can visit the Vincent’s Angels Wish List via the SVdP NKY Facebook page to buy new toys online.
