Trump Flipped on Us!: MAGA Furious Over Plan for National Citizen Database

Supporters of former President Donald Trump are expressing anger and disbelief over reports that his administration is working on a national database containing personal information about American citizens.

This database would be developed with the help of Palantir Technologies, a company known for its data analysis and surveillance tools.

The New York Times reported that Trump signed an executive order in March to encourage federal agencies to share data, which could lead to a centralized system holding details like bank accounts, medical records, and social media activity.

Palantir’s software, Foundry, is already being used by several government departments, including the Department of Homeland Security and the Department of Health and Human Services.

Many MAGA supporters feel betrayed by this move. The Patriot Voice, a prominent Trump supporter, posted on X (formerly Twitter): “Trump flipped on us.”

The Hodgetwins, conservative influencers with over 3 million followers, expressed their concerns, saying, “Hope this ain’t true y’all.” Nick Fuentes, a far-right activist, called the collaboration with Palantir “the ultimate betrayal of his people,” questioning the company’s ties to intelligence agencies.

Critics are comparing this initiative to surveillance programs in authoritarian regimes, fearing it could be used to monitor and control citizens. Some argue that this plan contradicts Trump’s previous stance against government overreach and the “deep state.”

Despite the backlash, the Trump administration has not publicly addressed these concerns. The situation has left many supporters questioning their trust in the former president.
