A man is wanted by Norfolk Police after being caught on surveillance video stealing from two local businesses: a 7-Eleven store and Papa Joe’s Smoke Shop.
The incidents occurred just days apart, prompting authorities to seek public assistance in identifying the suspect.
The first burglary took place on May 17 at around 2:40 a.m. at the 7-Eleven located at 8489 Chesapeake Boulevard. Officers responded to an alarm and discovered the store had been broken into, with items missing.
A few days later, on May 20 at approximately 1:20 a.m., a similar break-in occurred at Papa Joe’s Smoke Shop on 3848 E Little Creek Road. Surveillance footage from both locations shows the same man committing the crimes.
